Legends of Nightfire (Forgotten Heroes)

Yo all ........ i thoguht a good topic to discuss would be legends of nightfire. there have been many players who have come and gone, alot of which left an impact. from the era of Puto and Ryuken to the time of CSS-Freax to Mercians Kindred and currently the period of Crossi and Brainless......

there have been alot of players who could calll themselves a legend ... but whast really is a legend?
for example Blood could be counted as a legend because he was the best sniper in nf at 1 point(and maybe still is)
another example could be outstanding leadership, like Mercians amazeing UK clan and what he did for nf. Rambos CSS or Ghosts AK47 and PRO clans :P
also the era of Mitch the ##### , Himself, Killalord and the SSW clan, which was unstoppable, same with XOS.
the peak of VSD could also be counted as legendry, when crazy, bolt and neo were on form.
ill leave the thoughts up to you guys


so what is a hero and who is the heroes of NF? and why?

And what about <KoN> a clan founded by Suppa and some guy i can't remember he left Nightfire and I though also Sneaky but not sure. <KoN> was the that recruited Bad Boy which i think is/was one of the best players in Nightfire.

Same for that CSS-Berserker. It's some time ago but he was also great.

mwah I think that everybody has his own legends, for me someone isn't a legend when he is good in 1 map like Blood.
And well legends are more then great players so my legend of NF is 009 because he keeps the NFBL running and NFBL is prolly the reason why still many ppl playing this game.
So 009 you are my legend

Hey, I have to agree with Suppa about 009. Certainly a great contributor to NF. But don't forget VonStar a.k.a. [XA]Drunken who was a founder of the NFBL. If it wasn't for him I don't think any of us would still be playing.

As a player, I want to add ZxC-[X, he was in a class of his own and a complete player. He did it all, everywhere. Probarly Lithium deserves credit for the anti-cheat patch and being the one to introduce map-modding and his other tools. Vonstar and OO9 are already mentioned. There are lots of others of course, but hey, it's an open forum and plenty of space for others to write.

But one thing,

Why make think about such things now, when we still have a game to play? This seems like a topic for a game that is long gone lol

Vonstar , Lith and 009 r legends :D i dnt think any1 can disagree with that :)

but we fail to mention the great leaders who have brought top clans to NF and made the game competitive and intresting :D
Like Rambo and of course Mercian. there r many more but i gtg :P

Legends... is a big word.... there are lots of legends like OO9, vonstar, lithium etc because they all did a great job for our nightfire community. I don't think blood is a legend because he wasn't really that good tho and he was only a good player in knox. I think we can count nightfire legends as people who did a great job for our community. So OO9, ZERO{NC}, vonstar and lithium are my legends ;)

my legend is anybody who doesnt change his name, plays this game long time and when you see/play/mention him you have good feeling :)

mmh may i ask what UM did for nightfire? only some mods no 1 uses sorry but cid and UM are no legends for me... never download something on their site too... dont like phpnuke sites :o

Maybe you don't like the mods or something, But I appreciate his work. He's working much on NF keep it a bit a live. I think you underestimate the time how much modders spends into NF.

But Nightfire legends, Nightfire is a game - meant to have fun with (I guess?). Why you should choose "legends". My dreams about legends doesn't compare to a game.

But ok, there is only one legend for me - if I need to choose one -, OO9.

even though this may be against some part of 009, i think that Ford+co have done alot for nightfire, CMM, LS, CDSM, CSM, JBNF tools...

i do believe that they should get some credit for where we are 2day

LS (by lithium) - Great program, helped modders big time with modding maps.

CSM (by scoreboard, ford and lithium) - Cool program, can change weapon damages and ur name and loads of other game settings easily.

CMM (by lithium) - Awesome program, can take off specific weapons/cheats from nightfire at the click of the mouse!

CDSM (by scoreboard) - Good program for hosters, it was found out by me through extensive use that it had bugs but it was too late as he had already removed the source code from his comp.

JBNF Tools (by fordgt90concept) - This program is a modern combination of all the above (except LS) and much more. Yet he still is not finished because of his failing devotion to nightfire.


Despite this, i still believe that 009 and 007bond007 have also helped the game by introducing NAT.


007Tres has also greatly contributed to the game by his recently released programs and his map compiler+editor.


These are my 3 most respected companies and shall remain so unless zoner comes in with everythin we want/need

The legends are the people you here about for good reasons. They have are active or were active and leave/left an impression---a good one. they are also the ones who aren't so arrogant to call themselves ones. They are recognized by others and accept it and do not need to boast.
