Q. When I press any of the Hot Keys I can't move for a short while.

A. There has to be a short wait time for the message on the screen to show and disappear. It is set to 1 second for all the messages apart from the auto message. The auto message is set to a 2 second delay for each line. This is to fit into the spam delay. If you set the spam delay to 0, you can remove the w1sec commands from the message. The personal messages (Keypad keys 1-4 don't have any delay settings)


Q. I don't like the console background installed with the Nightfire Utility Script. How do I change it?

A. Go to this folder C:\Program Files\EAgames\Nightfire\bond\gui (or where ever you installed Nightfire too) and delete the file called console_background.png. The next time you start Nightfire the background will show the original one that came with the game.


Q. I installed some third party files now all my buttons are messed up and every time I start Nightfire I have to re-enter all my keys again.

A. The Nightfire Utility Script is an all in one package and will only work with files from the 009nightfire and `OS clan sites. If you have installed any other game script files these will interfere with the Nightfire Utility Script. To fix this problem uninstall all the files you have put in (apart from these files; auto_msg.cfg, banned_players.cfg, your_msg.cfg.), download the config replacer from here and then reinstall the Nightfire Utility Script.


Q. Can I still use the Nightfire options screen to put in buttons that I want?

A. Yes you can, as long as the keys you choose are not the same ones that the Nightfire Utility Script uses (see Buttons in the instructions)


Q. Can I use the shortcut codes for the dedicated server in my console too?

A. Yes you can, but it shouldn't be necessary as all the hot keys will do the same job.

Q. Can I host this file on my site?

A. NO. The only two sites that are allowed to host this file are [OO9]'s and `OS>007bond007's. (currently Down) If you wish list this file or link to it please contact either 007bond007 or myself.


Q. Can I modify this file and put it on my site then?

A. NO.
