Ok, I can't open any other ports! Its password locked and stuff. Is there a way where I can redirect Nightfire to go through a different port?

find out your password. it might just be blank, or if you havnt port forwarded before you will have to look at your router manual or ask anyone whos been fiddlin with your router.

Does anyone know any good excuses to tell a parent that they should unblock a certain port?

hmmh well games arent that bad, just try making the argument that every1 elses parents allow it and that bein able to play and host servs on the PC is better than gettin them to buy a new console for u

well it is pretty simple, nightfire uses 3 ports on a PC:
Client Port (default = 26005)
Server Port (default = 26015)
Server Query Port (default = 6550)

u only need to unblock the server and query ports to host
