Yea finally it is finished, today ctf_bulgaria has been released. It was a map project of me and smith, who stopped in the end. Anyways it is out now and can be downloaded using the NFBSP Client or the www.nfbsp.com site.

The map is built according to the NFBL requirements in order to become a NFBL-Map. It takes place in an older town in Bulgaria. Both sides are created equally, which guarantees a fair gameplay.

It is a nice map, good to play in and I would very much like to submit it for NFBL use.

The level is great. I've added it to the required Maps for DMC members to get so we can all play it.

More clans need to require their members to get maps, then maybe we server managers can actually include them in the cycle without fear of kicking out 15 people.

hey smith

If i were you i would not deinstall NF and just leave your map partner alone and check how i finished the map, added more stuff in it and made it complete. You would maybe change your foolish % theory then :cool:

The map consists of 50% own and 50% leet and that's what counts :grin:

Since now like all players who I talked to gave me a positive feedback of the map and said it would be a nice map for the NFBL as well.

you didnt "change" anything. all you did was add the parts i removed, and you didnt complain when i asked you to finish it. ( you didnt rly have a choice though >.> )

the vent @ middle, the door next to the big wall, and i wonder if you fixed that texture thingie i said..

ahh well ^^

lets hope our map goes into nfbl, whats left of it..

Smith why wondering if you could just reinstall NF and find it out yourself :grin: :cry: Added some new ways and not only the one behind that door you know xD

Well I like mapping so why should i complain finishing a nice map with much chances to become a map of the NFBL (hopefully :cool: ) I think that was made in a good way and just ago we even played a nice scrim there 4/5 on 4/5 :P

well the problems i find with it are rather costly in intense gameplay... u gota run across ur base and ur flag point to get to the weps u need, doorways which stick out so u cant run sideways though them whilst being shot at and i just think it looks rather a lot like romania, the idea behind releasing the compiler was for more original maps...

however

the map is rather fun one u gather all the right guns and runing away from people is rather funny too as there are some small rooms u can make other players follow u through :grin: :ctfmi6:

weapons in island, space station, jungle, tower are more split out i think.. and there is a raptor in the spawn.

the doorways stop p jumpers, and are realistic.

yes it does look like romania, and spida/smith wouldnt make texture folder or replace textures so it cant be made to look different ;Z.

yeh but in those maps there are 1 or 2 more weps in spawn and u dont gota gota run through the main flag area to get ur guns which is where most of the combat takes place...

the doorways copy brickcity which i already said that i didnt like because of the doorways, doorways which stop you walking through the actual space in the wall arent realistic zero, they should be made into a func_illusionary or something so that they dont stop you. theres enough in that map to stop pee jumpers without those dam things... look at the middle, u gota go in2 small rooms to get into the middle area which is pretty sure to stop any pee jumper...

whats the point in copying textures that are already there? :shock:

we just used the textures palced in the romania folder.. we didnt "make" any new ones ( i made a few for the paintings though ;p you could edit those.. )

some doorsthingies , the ones to spawn, are perfect >.> but spida copy apsted and forgot to change the sizes =]

well theres no real point in trying to stop p-jump with them, they only get in the way, so make them func_illusionary if u wana keep the look :wink:

either way, i dont think its a bad thing.. ctf casino - on the red side all the weapons are around the flag.

ok ulti. go to a wall in your house. lean against it and walk towards a door frame. see what happens. its realistic. and it doesnt "copy" brickcity, it was made by the same person.
