i have just bought nightfire + a u.s.b joypad how do i get the joypad to work with the game

I would suggest you use a keyboard and mouse for Nightfire as mouse and gamepad is very difficult to play with.
Some game pads come with software to map keys so you could try that though or the commands on this page http://www.009.web-fun.net/nightfire/co ... ystick.htm

a gamepas is the same as a joypad / joystick..
I Used to be scyzofrenic, But We're okay now :)
