Laggy server- Ports?

Ok, I lag a lot on EVERY server, even American ones! Could a port cause a problem like lag?

it might.
dou you use wireless ?
and what ISP are you with
and what bandwith do you get with that ISP
becuase all of that could have an effect.

Just to tell you, i use wireless and it works ok for me but post back the answers and i might be able to help you.

I hook my internet through a wireless router but I'm using a network cable- No wireless basically
ISP: Frontiernet
Bandwith: I think 10/100mbs- if thats not it, how do I tell?

you look at the internet bill u get... 10/100mbps is probably just the speed of the wire connection u have with the modem, not the speed of the model itself :wink:

Try making a speedtest in here http://www.speedtest.net and dont do anything else on the interent while doing the test.Choose a server near your country or from your country and tell us the result for download and upload.I repeat :While doint the test dont dwl anything or get anything from the net ...Make the test and tell us the results so we can figure out what could be the problem
