uk no scrimmages.. already saw guys joining ds or css and not uk only because of this rule... dont take a game that seriously ;-) it should be fun ;-)

I've never understood the fun part of some idiots refusing to accept defeat?

Some player can accept to loose, others can't. Instead of choosing carefully who is played, to avoid these types of arguments, it's easier to say a NO to all scrimmages, friendly or not. As UK is a part of NFBL and have been for so long, we get the matches we need anyway. If people choose not to join UK for us not scrimming, it's fine, because then we are nothing of what they are looking for...




To stay on topic, I've always enjoyed the company of CSS and always will. Zero had a good comment, useless to put down more words, most of us agree on it anyway.

same problem with nfbl... some ppl can accept, others cant... so why you play nfbl even?

Scrimmages are not "official" matches. When some players loose, they complain on the rules, some rule was broken, wrong or whatever lame excuss they can come up with.

NFBL provides a fixed set of rules, avaible to anybody who wants to learn them. As the rules are fixed, there can be no complaints or excusses about the rules. The server is the only thing left to complain about, if there still are those who can't take a loss. Servers are problematic of their nature (Connection speed, computer speed, geographical distances etc etc...) and all clans are allowed to host their own games (with the current set of rules) if they have host who fulfil the set rules for hosts.

NFBL: no or little room for whiners.
Scrimmages: loads of room for whiners to complain about things.

As easy as that :P

well servers... i just think its unfair of some clans 2 use their #### servers for nfbl.. think about how everybody would loose if i host 0 ping, train in my server with whole cv, never make public game so no1 is used to the ping of it, and then use it for nfbl... i still think we should make fixed nfbl servers...

Getting back on topic, actually freax I run the American team of CSS now. We felt like this would be nice to bring teamwork closer, and it also does help for trainings and to have similar pings. I know you do not like how we use Americans on American servers, and Europeans on European servers, but the game wasn't meant to be played by who has the best ping. We try and get the best pings possible so our players' true potentials can show, not just how bad they lag.

Mackan- I have sometimes questioned why UK doesn't do scrims, but I do agree with you on your reasonings.

although i still would like the idea of nfl servers hosted by neutral people. I know the Dutch/Euro population is very large in nightfire, but it isn't fair to only use that and cut out the Americans. so i think something could be worked out to help make it fair for both sides. But as of now, attackers host, and defenders have to deal with it. You ping badly on my serv, I ping worse on yours. May the best lag compensator win!

I think its good that attackers can host but i think they should do only dedicated server( so not only american servers dedicated but all!!). Then the attackers dont have such a big advantage.
And CSS is working about his attitude but well some people are how they are and you cant change attitude of people for a game.

you said that like 1000 times, i know you did, i had old pc, old connection and its like 8 months ago... if you want to test me in my server now i have no problem with it... and yes i know you lag in my server lol i do lag in yours too... freaking far away ;D and btw, i dont want to argue with you either, you once were my best m8 at nightfire... but at moment you just seem arrogant to me, your never online and only coming to play in your own server with american team vs 4 europans, you win and be happy :/

CSS is okay but some of their players are arrogants or they think they can do evrything (included chatkill and spwankill) just cuz they're wearing CSS tag, so I wanted to put I love CSS but i put CSS is okay cuz of those players ...

In my opinion chatkilling is ALWAYS allowed.

I never spawnkill and i also not always chatkill but i don't care if i get chatkilled it's a part of the game. It's just a thing you should work on. Chatting without getting killed.

yeah, right, chatting is dangerous in a game ...
but spawnkill is very sad so ... (it's CTF not capture the spawn ^^)
