no need to do all that router and firewall stuff, i did some testing and as far as i can see, if youre banned from the server (sv_addip etc.) then you cant use remote rcon control to control the server. when you try to put in a command it just says "You have been banned from this server."

that banning stuff may be needed if the client uses is as a flooder, because the server replies the message "You've been banned from this server". If the client is banned, he won't receive any response and the nf ded server won't be stressed

depending on ur server and server admin network u may want to change the rcon ban limit to whatever suits you... i would use 2 as i am one of the only ones who uses my server... but i host scrim servers too so that may create problems

Ulti we are not discussing about the rcon penalty number, we are commenting that flooding a server with rcon shall ban a player with sv_addip automatically if he fails the rcon many times, because NF's rcon ban penalty does not work correctly.
