Sounds stay as they are, the only things that will be blocked I already have mentioned them, but this thread was mainly to decide which commands were considered cheats and which not, about the rates I agree too.

Can there be done a script, which checks whois is sending packages from clientside to serverside? To avoid and ban server flooders :)?

You will see a hell of a difference between players sending packages than people who are flooding the server :)

Theres no point in blocking weapon mods if thats what your saying. If youre close enough to see the weapon someones holding, then youre close enough to them. Theres trying to stop cheats, and theres being fussy lol.

if you make a pink sniper, you can see him ( example.. ) when you're downstairs at the austria gate ( at flag ) looking to the sniper tower...
same thing for mines, if you got pink mines you can easy see where they are and how to blow them before they blow you.. you can actualy edit each weapon to the 'special' colours and you got yourself the same effect as coloured skins..

spxter, that script would need a packet sniffer, which would make lag to the server.
Crossi, when you don't have a modded NF and other ppl have mods, you don't see their mods in the game, it's the same thing :P.

This sounds like a good idea that should be employed by the NFBL :wink:

what about p-jumping?...

Something is in development that detects it, when it is completed we must decide if it is legal within the NFBL to p-jump within matches and leave the players who prefer not to use it for the idea of fair play to suffer and leave due to lack of a decent game or whether to try and prevent it in skill-based matches whilst at the same time choking off part of the reason why so many people play the game...

nono, I mean this: for example Suppa has modded ping/red sniper, I am camping on the roof and he cant see me because skinmods are blocked :D but he will see my sniper because it will be red? Or he can see only his own sniper red and snipers of other players have regular colour?
And can he mod all roofs to white for example or this will be blocked too?

I am for blocking or mods but guns from own wiew - in case its possible, but lets see other opinions

people can change their models to be other models so that people run around as missing model boxes or whatever... I think that removing hud mods is a good idea as they can make their gun invisible so that they can see where the gun would cover

ulti, the pjumping detector does not work, as we dont have a static memory address which show us the coordinates.
I am not sure exactly which textures, but I think that I will block all modded mdl textures too, roofs won't be able to be modded, as any map texture.
And I don't see necessary removing hud mods.

blocking pjump will be then end of nightfire, there is no way to block it. Matches become boring and will take like in the old days 1 to 3 hours, ouff so boring

*cough* so players dont play for skill in NFBL, they only play to fly around the map almost teleporting to flags? I said block it ONLY in the NFBL, not public servers

no, its just that it greatly undermines fighting and tactics which are the main skills needed, it takes much less training to merely p-jump from base to base without contact... but this isnt for discussing p-jump (too many cheat threads turn in to an argument about it ;))

A good team is set-up with attackers, defenders and allrounders. As a team you can work out tactics very well.

For e.g. In s5 we certainly make use of the enemy if they have a 3 man attack for a few rounds, quite simple to make an anti attack with a gunner and a jumper ;)

quite simple to think and call tactics on teamspeak during the game. Pjump adds speed and thinking to this game, and goes apart with shooting to a victory :)
