Off-topic for me is not useful, I would prefer GSA to the Off-Topic section.

Because if new ppl got to read entire forum to keep up to date, I feel it really bad

I'd prefer seeing people chit chat in the Off-Topic boards rather than in the other ones. Right now there are a lot of topics which people use for privat chats.

with the spamming of u guys in sum topics neary all topics went 'off topic' .

Posts have nothing to do anymore with the subject and I am getting 2 lazy 2 read all the posts :P

thats wut I meant with my 'if you keep spamming like that u willl reach next week 7000 posts' dunno or this topic is related to that post?

I'm with Suppa and Pencat on this one. I like the of off topic section, but not having it leak into every other topic on the forum making them off topic too.

I got to do a forum tidy soon and make some more changes so that should sort some parts out. For spamming though which generally relates to chat posts that go off, topic the place for chat is GSA, MSN or the chat box here, like Tres says.

The Off topic section is meant to be for discussion of things that don't fit into the other sections. Overall "Discussion" is the key word on a forum.

I've given a lot of freedom to the posts on the forum but in some topics it's getting out of hand.

Changes I'm thinking off are adding 2 more mods, test forum to change to test and Spam topics, adding a Map Related section and having a section for nfbsp things if Tres would like it?

i think I'm "Suppa" in Ulti's first post, because he created this topic 1 or 2 minutes after I had answered "eh, no" to some statement he made about off-topic is the most interesting section of the forum.

OO9 sums my opinion up very nicely.

I like an active forum, but not to any price. When a bunch of people post just for the sake of posting it creats a lot of posts because all of them want the last post in each topic. The main problem is the block for everybody else to discuss in those topics. It is very hard to follow the real discussion and I don't enjoy expressing my opinion with the current climate in the forum. It's unfriendly for everybody except a small number of users, in my opinion.

I agree about adding nfbsp topics into this forum, as this page is one of the most populars, and since my previous nfbsp forum died, noone posts there :P
Thanks

That question clearly shows that you're not reading our posts well.
The problem is that you guys are using the forum to chat in the threads about topic irrelevant things. So when we are going through the new posts there are a lot of messages that are private talking and we don't necessarily want to read that.
