how make you a MOD?

you need to edti the original NF files, ( use a extract programm like dragon unpacker , to unpack the 'assets' file to get all the original nf files) open the things you want to 'mod' and open the in paint or a other paint programm. and then you're done ~~

modding nightfire is quite simple [but not much fun its limited]
first extract all the files with the unpacker [dragon] into yor bond folder
you can make changes to
text
png
wav
ogg
sprites
video clip
simply replace them with your own stuff
use the same filename+ filetype textures must be png and the same image size 256x256 ifor instance
try downloading another mod and snooping around see what they have done its best way to learn



for instance the loading screen can have a different backround tune video and message
maps retextured
new sounds
new player outfits
weapon skins yadayada yada

there go fool around

simply use the assets.007 decompressor (assets.007 contains all the textures and maps and models and sounds and scripts etc...)

then u go to bond\ROOT and look around

when uve changed a texture just place it in the same directory after 'ROOT' in the bond folder

for example...

You have edited the file Nightfire\bond\ROOT\textures\osato\door1.png and you want it to work in nightfire, you simple COPY and PASTE in to:
Nightfire\bond\textures\osato\door1.png

(if the folders arent there then make them :wink: )

sony protected it already.
and a virus cant work, example :
it infects your windows file , console --> NO WIndows xD!

lol I dont use dragon unpacker all I do is edit them with Mac. Fireworks 8 thats all.

If you mean which file to open with the Dragon Unpacker then it's:
'assets.007' in your Nightfire\bond\ folder
e.g.: "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Nightfire\bond\assets.007"
