I agree with Nokia, currently I got both processors and at same Ghz (1,6GhzX2) speeds, and the intel core duo has more performance than an AMD Dual-core, that's because core duo technology is much newer than AMD's, but well, this will change in a month or two.

I had a recent chat with an expert...his views were that the "best" switches back and fourth between the 2. Right now only Intel has the quad core so it is the best, but during the summer, AMD will release their better version, and Intel will have to compete and come out with something better in the fall.

I thought AMD released the first quad core, to compensate 4 Intels ownage wiv single core speeds
