What do you all use..?

Postby [George] on Tue Feb 13, 2007 7:23 pm

Hey, I'm having a go at making some mods, and I was wondering whats the best thing to use to mod things like crosshairs, weapons, and skins?

At the moment I am using paint.. It sucks lol

adobe is a hard prog to work with when you start with modding and stuff..
Perhaps try Macromedia Fireworks ;)

When you save it in .png format there should be some options to save it with alpha channel transparency, MS Paint doesn't have that though. In Paint Shop Pro, you can use the export image or save as => Options => Run Optimizer. Fireworks and Photoshop have support for alpha channel transparency too.
