Suggestions

I just thought that maybe some people would like to make some suggestions for possible future releases

I would like it more if it could make more than 1 Dedicated server, say maybe 2 or 3 with different ports each time. Some people have been asking me to make a similar program to CDSM (available from www.r-a-c.tk ) but only without the bug that all the servers are the same as server 1. However, I find free time is becoming shorter and I do not realy want to recode the one I made for CoD2. Maybe I should, please state your opinions!

There is already a version of a second dedicated server. 009 never released it officialy and I don't know if he finished it or is still interested in doing so.
Play fair and with a smile,

We (007bond007 and I) thought about adding more than one server as an option, but decided against it in the end.

I did make another separate one as Zero said. It was for Matserjeff initially, but I gave it out to other people as well.

Mederms made a good set of batch files for 4 servers, I think I still have it some where.

I'll see if I can put them up on the site for other players to use.

I'm not sure if we are going to update NAT anymore, we may look at it again in a few months and see if it's worth adding anything else? Tres is doing a lot of work on things and we may add option to run his stuff from NAT too (Just an idea, haven't talked to him for long time).

If you have made a multiple server program for COD2 and changing it for Nightfire is not a lot of work, go for it  .

ok, I wasen't going to say anything.... but I started work on a new version of NAT a loooooong time ago (EDIT: actually its not called "NAT" but it does have CPS built into it, its actually named NSC) and slowly picked away at it - and its almost done too just has some bugs and a few small things to touch up - I have been lazy latly and also busy and haven't worked on it for a while. The new version has more features - but currently does not support multiple servers through one instance of the program (im 80% sure, but haven't tested, that you are able to run multiple copies of NAT and get the same effect though). One reason 009 and I decided agaisnt a multiple server option in the first place was due to quality of hosting - if you run more than one server on any casual machine it's likely to bog the system down enough to cause painful latency, especially with most residential internet connections.

The new program contains a more user-friendly interface and has features not possible with the old way of programming - but that's all i'm giving away for information as of right now, but suggestions are welcome, and maybe sometime soon i'll get a release out as it seems that there are people like you who would still get use out of it.

Ideas are welcome, and sometime in the near future i'll start a new thread about it with screenshots, if people are interested.

Thanks for using NAT
