Modding help me please

My first question is, how do you make a crosshair using paint. And how do I place flags on maps please tell me step by step.

YOu can use paint for it, its not adviced though.
same for the flags.
if you want to edit your curent crosshair you should go to
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Nightfire\bond\gui\hud and open 640_crosshair_01. thats your curent crosshair and you can do what ever you want with it.
BUT!
if you do it trough paint it wont work cuz you need transparent back grounds. and paint has white, so when you're finished with it, you save it.
there will be a white thing around it!
Same for the flags..

TKO...check another CTF map and look up for "CTF" as text string in the search field. Then copy and paste the entity and adapt the coordinates for your map. I won't give more advice, cuz that's kinda easy and learning by doing is the best method anyways.

I know how to find coordinates but to add them on hex workshop is hard because I dont want to mess up the map.BiRdY wrote:TKO...check another CTF map and look up for "CTF" as text string in the search field. Well yes...the size of the map in bytes has to be exactly the same. So you have to delete dots or entities...when you write something in the map, one character deletes another anyways...so...try to find a place in the map, where are only dots and insert the flag entities...then delete those bytes.
