Converting WAV files into MIDI files isent always a good idea since it usually sounds VERY bad - i've tried many programs for this, but i can't remember where I found them... try searching google for somthing like "convert wav to midi" or somthing similer.

Convert MIDIs into WAV files? Usually the easiest (and cheapist) way is to play the MIDI and open your sound panel mixer (double click on the little speaker icon by your clock) and if there isent one go into control panel and select "sounds and audio devices" next click the Advanced button under "Device Volume" and you should have the mixer open.

go into the Options>Properties menu and select the "Record" radio circle and click OK. Now choose "Stereo Mix" to tell the computer to record the audio (MIDI) playing and have Windows Media Player to play the MIDI while sound recorder open and record while it plays.

if you need to record more then 60 seconds sound recorder wont work for you so you will need another program to record. Also don't forget to change back the mixer select boxes back to Microphone.
