hoi... im sure a lot of u have already seen me testing, and some have helped with that :wink:

CTF_BunkerWar is a somehwat large map with 2 sides, a bunker on each. Both of these bunkers have strong defences however, it is also possible to p-jump between them with relative ease (but not flag to flag :wink: )

the map has a special ...thing... which is new to NF maps as #1 they make the game crash if more than 2 ppl try to use them #2 they duno how :shock: (apart from DM_Photostand_Tank :grin: )

the spawn rooms have tables designed so that anyone runing by can just grab the weps, but to access the ammunition on the lower shelf, you have to duck :grin:
a question i have for NFBL play is, should the spawnroom doors be only openable from the inside or shall i make them openable from both?
yes this map is intended to be tested, and i would hope to have it be checked soon whilst i can still hapily make any minor adjustments :wink:

i really havent added much more than the spawnrooms and the general layout of the map, so theres still rather a bit to be done. some time will be spent on designing the rest of (the thing zero is making textures for ;o)... and i will need to think about what to fill the rest of the space with :grin:

well actually the landscape was generated by something or other and given to me by Maurits, there were 2 nice flat bits at either side which i thought wud b good for bunkers ;P i also tried to merge as many of the faces as possible so the engine doesnt have such a hard time rendering it xD but the rest is mine :wink: T-1000 helped a bit with the ...secret ;D... zero made the bunker wall textures and maurits also made the big gun in the middle of the front of the base :wink:

need a lil help with makin it so only 1 person can use them at a time... dave had a go but he made a major fail :P his padowan learner smith mite b more helpful as he might not be stoned so much of the time... :shock:

Insides look nc.. outside textures seems sorta gay.

And is there a bug @ second main bunker form the bottom :p? could be me but i can see trough the bottom of the walkway ._. !

The map looks great and sounds like a lot of fun.

Also, here's what i did with ctf_gestreets2 for the spawn rooms:

You can't open them from the outside, but for them to open, you only have to be inside the room.

There's a huge trigger texture inside the room that opens the door and re-opens it as long as someone is inside it. This way, it is inaccesable from the outside if it is empty of people, and if a flag carrier should be able to get in, they can't stay locked in...like tower or island maps.

I prefer not being able to get back in spawn. That's just my opinion.

looks pretty nice, but you still got to add objects to fill empty gaps, and outside has to be worked out too

yeh, thats y i want help... to fill all the luvly space with somin rlly pretty :grin: the insides i have some stuff in mind for... outside if i add too many trees i end up makin the map rlly laggy :cry:

yeah it looked completely crap the first time we ever tested it, but its lookin really decent now, gj.

moan at me a bit more and i might actually get round to making you a decent texture for the outside thing.
