dss2/NAT always on lan never on internet

hello i was wondering if somone could help me out plz its been a couple of days now that i wanted to open a server for nightfire but i not able to. my problem why i cant make a server is because it always a appears on lan but not the internet list. so i came to this site to see if i could find how to fix my problem i found out that u had to port forward some ports which i did the ports i forwarded were 6550, 26005, 26015, 26025. so then i tried to make a server but it still wouldnt work so i read somwhere that u had to go in your server and play in it atleast 2 min which i did but i played in my server for 5 min and it still didnt work. so then i read that i might of been my fierwall that might be blocking my game or nat/dss2 so i made nightfire, nat and dss2 to pass my fier. can somone help me get a server up plz

I remember one of the troubleshooting options said make sure your windows firewall is turned off.

Allowing Nightfire through just wasn't good enough.
