I typed in console r_speeds 1 and it shows green text of numbers. Every time I move the numbers change.

Now that is something I never knew before...looks well useful, too; I think it's the amount of stuff that's rendered in your view or maybe in that portion of the map that's being rendered, such as the amount of triangles on the faces and the textures, texture memory etc. Looks like Romania takes up a lot of texture memory...can't see it very well but it looks like the red stuff says 69mb :shock: And you have 1 pixel shader :grin:

Similar to showbudget in Source, just generally for seeing if maps need to be improved for rendering purposes.

r_speeds 1 is useful to check if your map fits the limits of the NF engine, those values that are green will show that it's ok and those values that are red mean that it's risky.

In case of Romania the only value shown red refers to the textures (as romania has a long variety of textures)

This is mainly used to prevent lag designing new maps

well the engine loads all the textures into memory whilst the map is loading doesnt it? :shock:
it happens on my new map too... apparantly i have 200 textures when actually i only have like 20 so i duno... maybe its all the model textures too... its pretty useful... im trying it to delag bunkerwar :grin:

lol my friend found more codes in his ROOT folder called wendigo. SO I decided to type it and see what it does.

wendigo.cfg config file, there are quite a few in the folder. There the names of the people at gearbox who worked on the game.
