island getaway

I have reached the island getaway, but i'm wondering why I don't have any gadgets? (lazer watch,decryptor,stunner,cellphone grapple) ive made it to the area with the rocket and pool of water but finding out along the way, I need these gadgets to continue on, to get weapons,armor that are in caged areas that are paddlocked. is it a game problem,computer problem, or do I need to find the gadgets that might be hidden? thanks-looking forward to your reply.

You might be able to perform some Give Item codes through the console

do you have gadgets at the very start of the mission? if it is a glitch, you may just want to cheat just this once, rather then go through reinstalling or restarting your game etc.

or do what I do and type in GOD in the console at the very beginning

Have you installed any patches? Some of them have options to remove items from the game. They are meant for servers but effect the single player missions too.
