EDIT: Stuff what I said, I'm stupid.
-------
Anyway, I've looked on eBay and found what looks like a pretty good PC:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4000-Dual-Core-2GB-RAM-160GB-8500GT-512mb-HDTV-DX-10_W0QQitemZ150244855127QQihZ005QQcategoryZ179QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

Tell me what you think. It doesn't come with an operating system but I can buy one for an extra £60 or so, the guy said.

well nice dude, looks rather suitable... when i got this PC the power supply was #### and rated at about the max the system used so it made a lot of heat and was rather inefficient, a trip back 2 england sorted taht out, and the new 700W PSU allowed me to get a much more powerful graphx card too  i should think that the power supply is suitable, but new ones cost less than £100 so that aint too much of a problem... the AMD 4000+ processor is a single core rated at about the same speed as each processor of the 4800+ dual core... so i duno wat they mean by 'dual core', the upgrade to 6400+ is a good option to have as it may prove a useful upgrade for future operating systems, the RAM seems suitable, the HDD space also seems adequate even though im not sure how much ur gona install on2 it  the graphx card is the same series as mine (although mine is the 8800GT  ) and can run DX10 in future games so deffinitely a plus.

how was that for a sentence? XD

Wasn't a sentence, ended at the first ellipsis. OWNED

I have an external hard drive that I'm currently using with my laptop, it has all my Steam games on it so I should be fine. As long as my HDD is more than 60gb I'm happy; my old one was crap and filled up too quickly, hence the EHDD. So you reckon the GPU is decent? Hopefully it'll outperform my current one (), although I am thinking of saving for a GeForce 9900 when it comes out. Looks ownage.

That big thing you implied as a sentence is actually split up by ellipses though. Still, who cares...
