NF SWAT Mod

On Halo 3, just this week they released SWAT from Halo 2
SWAT is basically you have to shoot in the head just once with an automatic and they die, just like that.

I was wondering if its possible to have SWAT in Nightfire, enabling 1 shot to the head with the PDW90 or MP9 Silenced? is that possible?

well you can change the damage system on a server..


these are normal settings on nightfire for headshots..

Code: Select all
sk_player_head1 3
sk_player_head2 3
sk_player_head3 3


and all other sk_player things are set to 1. (which is why its 3 shots on anywhere with raptor to kill or 1 shot to the head - triple damage)

im not actually sure if you can increase sk_player settings to a number above 3, but if you could, you could make it so it was one shot from pdw to head and you would die (i think it would have to be sk_player_head1/2/3 9)

you can make it higher than 3...i think for pp9 it has to be 14 or 16...can't remember...you can even make it negative which adds health instead of removing it...i don't remember if i tried 0 but i suspect it would work (no health lost or gained)

edit: the full list is in skills.txt (ROOT\skills.txt in assets.007)

WOW im so trying that in my server lol ;D

and you can do 0 - you can put everything to 0 except head and then put head to 1, so its 2 headshots with sniper to kill someone - good for training headshots apparently.. ;p

i don't think so...all that is available without memory editing is sv_falldamage 0/1...

ever used a trainer? that's basically what you'd have to do...an application that runs at the same time, hooks into the target applications virtual memory, and alters it...it takes a lot of research with a limited chance of success...

a good thing would be able to change individual gun damage but i think thats in the sections of code that Custom Mod Maker/DSS removes/nullifies/screws up :shock: i think that that would be a nice thing to make a new program for :grin:
