Hello i was thinking about, let ronins come back to the game(NFBL). I think it will bring some more difficult and action in the game, if you place the ronin on a good position. an example: if you place 1 ronin in front of kitchen (ctf_office) it will be more dificult to grapple fast trough kitchen.. understand?

Give an serious opinion about this!

Thank you,
Spranger

yes ronins would be a very nice addition in the fact that it would create more strategy in the game and create whole different tactics for competetive gameplay harde cheese

I support, Nightfire is partially about stragedy. If you stragedically place a ronin at a vital area; ex: by the flag and detonate it

Its a weapon of Nightfire, allow it

Ronins are good for the game. We have them in the bot DM server and they are a big hit. They aren't cheap or anything, you can punch a ronin to death and not get hit. I forget why i took them out of the CTF server. Maybe it's time to put them back in there too. A ronin is signature weapon that helps push this bond game into the bond realm. The thing is straight outta Q's basement testing lab.

Ronins are a new way of playing, but they can also increase the p-jump usage.

Imagine -> theres a ronin behind the flag in ctf_romania, you grab the flag and let the ronin boost you and you're gone? you can do the same in the kitchen @ office and at all the other placed you think up. Are we willing to let ronins increase the p-jumping in maps even more?

Why should you increase the pjump with the ronin, you just need to think logistic and place the ronin an a good spot. I dont think thats kind off hard. Every team have there own tactics to place them that they think its te best to help the defend. I dont think that it will help the pjump issue.

i agree with J4 that it'll make newer tactics of NF playing on a scrim level. and i dont agree with smith, cuz only some nub will throw it behind flag put it on front or in office u can put near kitchen back entrance to stop the grappler continue pjump or put one above spawn. ronin is probably only fun way to have and not have pjump, if u see what i mean. then everyones happy,

I don't like ronins, First of all you will get the discussion with spawnplaces.

When both teams got a flag and they are hiding in spawns rome, can you trow a ronin in? When you do you can also spawnkill someone...

Also you will get in dm maps the discussion with spawnkills...

It gives something tactical extra but ronins were banned from NFBL and all populair NF servers (except the BOT ones) because the nf players didn't want them..

Maybe it would be smart to add a poll to this topic to see everybody his opinion.

If ronins would come back there should be a limit to them, like only 1 ronin/team , because otherwise there would be ronins everywhere.
My opinion..

well in NFBL there are only 4 players per team and max 1 ronin per person... place one in the kitchen and when ur flag is taken, detonate it Very Happy best way to stop p-jumpers. If u add them ill take the mines out of my ctf_romania Very Happy
i think throwing ronins into spawn rooms should be disallowed
