yes but if spida was his brother, and he moves fine, then he obviously doesnt use the codes, and would probably know that his brother does.. so why wouldnt he say something?

i have never even seen tigerson lag like you describe, are you sure its not just your computer, or the server you were in at the time? and you must be the only person to complain about this lol, so it cant be that big a deal.

He is not the only person, many players complain about the 'lag' of slayer and tigerson. And I don't think Spida will say it when his brother cheats.. I don't think tiger cheats :). Spida explained once it was cuz the wireless (of hoe noem je da:D draadloos) i-net they had..

Talking about lagging players and about my brother Tiger especially is quite "Off-Topic", dont you think? Well anyways me and my brother arent using "codes" of rates or something. I have never heard about that sort of "codes" before so how on earth should i use them or know what they change. All i know is that Tiger does not use any kind of "codes". I dont know but all "r_" commands are blocked on his "pc/nf..?" so neither wallhack , overbright or something else works there. He doesnt have nfbsp client or something installed what could block it - it just doesnt work.
We both use the same internet and router but his room is more away from the router which makes him get less "%" of the connection.I got usually like 60% and he only like 20-30%. I have got a newer computer than him too and his PC is often quite laggy and taking long to load stuff etc.. I dont know the reason of his lag and he can hardly handle it himself - therefore i have been trying to fix that a lot of times before but i didnt know what was the reason for this "lag,freeze" whatever.
But its not changed "rates,codes" for sure as we both dont know about that #### lol

And im not saying he uses it as a cheat. The rates are set by default on dial-up settings by nightfire itself. BUT you can change them in the options screen. Some people just dont bother to change those settings, but they can make a big difference in the way you move on screen.

In source this is the same problem, so hosts use server commands to force people into using same rates or certain minimal rates to prevent lag.

Nightfire has alot of those commands build inside the engine, so i was just suggesting to use them in this game too.

A minimal rate of 10000 is excessive, at nf settings 2500 was used for dial-up, 5000 for RDSI\ISDN and 10000 for cable\dsl\T1.
Most people connect now through a fast connection like dsl or cable, but a minimum between 5000-7000 shall be ok for having no problems with other players.
Oh and forcing players to a minimal rate does not prevent lag, very likely, the opposite.

Wireless connection doesnt make any1 lag.. I have had wireless for long time and it doesn't lag even if i have 20% signal strentgh. And old computers dont lag like that: old computers only lag to the player who plays with it and ping goes higher, with tiger the lag is seen by the other players as awful freezing even if tiger has 20 ping.
