I'm not the one who should be worried, because Ulti has been banned for this reason in the past, but still doesn't seem to have learnt to stay ON-TOPIC.

That's rubbish, this is just a nice forum for the Nightfire Community to keep in touch and just chill out and discuss things, i see no reason(s) why going OFF TOPIC is an excuse for banning the person.

-->Split from another topic<--

Forum rules where changed a while ago because it got really bad;

F - Stay on topic. Posting Off Topic disrupts the flow of the topic and makes it hard to follow for other users who wish to discuss the topic subject/title. Posts going off topic will be split where possible or just be removed and be at the Forum staff's discretion to do so.

A lot of topics can go 'Off Topic' quite easily (it's only human) and some allowances are made. If Users do it to excess though after being warned about it too, temporary banning them is an option we have to curb it.

There is also;
G - Spam, chat and inappropriate comments will be removed at the Forum staffs discretion. If you wish to chat with another user you can use the chat box, GSA, MSN, IRC etc, the forum topics are for discussion of the topic subject/title. Inappropriate comments are, but not restricted too, flaming another user for no reason, commenting on another users spelling, debating with a moderator/admin when they commented on your inappropriate post (See Other Rules D) .Spam is invasive, unsolicited information. Posting advertisements for unrelated web pages or services.

nah, loads of locked topics makes forums look bad i think.. and if a topic is resolved, it doesnt really matter about a bit of off topic chat (as long as it isnt just spam), and if you lock the topic, it means someone else cant post something else (obviously) if they wanted to ask further questions on it..

well the post i was banned for had some useful data which i thought was relavent to the topic, someone said something about how good a graphics card you have may in some cases lead to the error blo was talking about. I explained my experiences with that kind of problem to help blo (the joke i included was a little stong-worded and i do apologise for that xD ). But going excessively off-topic shouldn't be allowed. EG, when someone starts talking about something entirely random and gets others to comment on that post it's complete bull lol :shock:
