Random Lag Outs.

Hey, I have been playin nightfire for many many many years. I neevr ever had a problem with it in my life. And about 2 weeks ago I had this strange problem. I was playing on the BOT Extreme DM server when I suddenly lagged out. Now I thought it was just a connection problem until I noticed in every server for the next 2 weeks the same thing happened.

While I am in a server for more than 15 minutes I recieve lag which about 5 minutes later leads to a Time/Lag out.

Nothing is wrong with my router and I don't believe I changed around any files...

PLEASE HELP ME!! THIS RUINS MY SCORES AND SCRIMS AND MANY MORE!!!!!!

Hey BK.Here are some things you could do:
1.Check your computer for viruses
2.If you have rotuer reset it to default settigns and readjust it with your settings
3.Turn the windows firewall off and then back on
4.Reinstall NF
If none of the above work reinstall Windows

or call your internet provider, maybe they're having problems with their servers at this moment. Is it just nf thats having lagg, or are there more games? ( if you play others.. )

nothing workeeddd. but i recently noticed that sometims when i lag out, up in Console it says MOUSE3 or something like that. plus im USA dn my game is from EU, most of you will say thats the problem, but ive had this game since '06 and havent had a problem since then..

what do ya guys think?

Talk to your isp and check how your connection is...Maybe its from them...It could be that your connection doesnt work as good as it used to and that could also be it..As I also said:Try reinstalling Windows

"MOUSE3 is unbound" message appears when you press the middle click button of the mouse, and it's for sure that your problem does not happen because your game is from EU...

Try checking that you don't have trojans, worms or viruses, check that you or anybody using your internet is not downloading files or if it is a WLAN connection, check that it is secured with a WEP\WPA encryption.

i have also tried to host a dedicated server once, i opened ports but i do not host and the ports are open. Could that be the problem? How can i fix that?

theres a small chance its the ports..

you can delete them by doing the same things yoiu did to add them.
go to your network ip. and then go to the ports page, and click on delete, instead of add.
